Petrolodex — Fuel Supply Made Simple, Direct, and Globally Reliable
If you've ever tried to buy fuel, jet fuel, diesel, or crude
oil in bulk for your business, you already know how confusing the process can
get. There are brokers, middlemen, agents, suppliers, refineries, and a dozen
different price quotes — and somehow, by the time the number reaches you, two
or three other people have already taken a cut along the way. By the time your
tank is full, your budget is gone.
We're Petrolodex, and we built our company to fix exactly
that.
We are a global fuel and chemical trading company
headquartered in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Our office sits at Office
1904, DAMAC XL Tower, 216 Marasi Drive, Business Bay, and from there our team
works with buyers and suppliers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East,
Africa, and Asia Pacific.
This page is written by our team here at Petrolodex — the
people who answer your inquiry, place your cargo, and confirm your cargo at
port. We want to walk you, in plain language, through who we are, what we sell,
and how working with us actually feels day to day.
What Petrolodex Actually Does
Petrolodex is a wholesale fuel supplier and trading
company. That means we buy petroleum products — crude oil, diesel, jet
fuel, fuel oil — directly from refineries and national oil companies, then sell
and ship those products in bulk to qualified business buyers around the world.
The single idea behind everything we do is this: we
trade principal-to-principal.
"Principal" means we are the actual party holding
the product. We are not a broker passing your order to someone else. We are not
an intermediary taking a margin on top of someone else's margin. When you buy
through Petrolodex, you are buying from us — directly, with one accountable
number on the contract and one team responsible for execution.
That single change — cutting out the middleman chain — saves
our buyers money, reduces paperwork, and turns a shady corner of the fuel
market into something transparent and predictable. It's the reason our company
exists, and it's why most of our long-term customers first came to us in the
first place.
Our Products — What You Can Buy Through Petrolodex
We focus on the petroleum and chemical products businesses
actually need in large volumes. Here's what we currently supply, in layman's
terms:
1. Crude Oil (Unrefined Petroleum)
Crude oil is the raw product that refineries turn into
gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other fuels. We supply several grades directly
from national oil allocations:
- Basra
Heavy Crude & Basra Medium Crude — sourced directly from SOMO
(Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organization), shipped CIF to your nominated
safe port.
- Bonny
Light Crude — direct allocation from NNPCL (Nigeria's national
oil company), supplied CIF to any safe port worldwide.
- Sarir
& Messla Crude — directly from Libya's National Oil
Corporation (NOC), shipped FOB from Hariga or Tobruk.
- Pricing
is benchmark-driven, tied to Platts Brent or Platts FOB Italy (depending
on origin) with transparent discounts, full SGS inspection, and official
assays from the producing country.
2. EN590 10 PPM ULSD (Ultra-Low-Sulfur Diesel)
This is the standard high-quality diesel fuel used by road
transport, generators, marine operators, mining, construction fleets, and
industrial buyers across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. "10 PPM"
means the sulfur content is so low the fuel meets the strictest emissions rules
worldwide.
- Prompt
availability: 100,000–300,000 MT, U.S. or Mexican origin, FOB from
Houston, Corpus Christi, Olmeca, or Pajaritos.
- Long-term
contracts: 12-month minimum, 50,000–300,000 MT per month, CIF to
Fujairah, Rotterdam, Houston, Singapore, Hamriyah, Mersin, or your
nominated port. Pricing tied to Platts NWE, with bigger-volume discounts
available for 24+ month deals.
The kerosene-based fuel that commercial airlines, cargo
carriers, and private aviation operators burn every day. We supply both prompt
and long-term volumes:
- Prompt
availability (Singapore): 2,000,000 barrels single cargo, FOB Vessel
Take Over at Jurong, non-sanctioned origin.
- Long-term
contracts: 12-month minimum, 50,000–300,000 MT per month, CIF to any
major aviation hub. Meets ASTM D1655 and Def Stan 91-91 international
aviation standards.
4. Heavy Sour Fuel Oil (HSF)
A thick, high-sulfur residual fuel primarily used in power
generation, large marine vessels, and industrial boilers. Sourced direct from
Libya's NOC, FOB Tobruk, with SGS/Saybolt inspection, no upfront payment
required, and an ATV issued for buyer testing before delivery.
5. Chemicals (Beyond Fuel)
Although fuel is our core, our trading desk also handles
selected industrial and commodity chemicals at scale — useful for buyers who
want to consolidate their bulk procurement with a single, reliable
counterparty.
Our Services — How We Actually Work With Buyers
Buying bulk fuel isn't just sending money and waiting for a
ship. There are documents, inspections, payment instruments, and compliance
checks at every step. We've built our service so you only deal with one team —
ours.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
Direct Refinery & Government Sourcing
We work directly with refineries and national oil companies,
not through a chain of brokers. Every cargo we offer has a verifiable origin,
official documentation, and a seller who is on record.
Flexible Pricing Programs
Fuel prices move daily. Whether you want a fixed
price to lock in your budget, an index/floating price tied
to Platts to ride the market, or a hybrid collar with a cap
and floor, we structure the contract around what protects your margins
— not what protects ours. (You can read more in our guide on fixed
vs floating fuel pricing.)
Secure Payment & Documentation
Every transaction uses internationally recognized
instruments — Transferable LC, DLC MT760 + MT103, SBLC, or TT/SWIFT — paired
with SGS inspection, full assay reports, and Resolution No. 136 compliance
documentation. Your bank, your legal team, and your compliance officer will all
have what they need on day one.
Global Logistics & Delivery
We handle FOB (Free on Board), CIF (Cost, Insurance,
Freight), and TTV (Tank-to-Vessel) deliveries to nearly every major port on six
continents. Whether your cargo leaves Jurong, Rotterdam, Fujairah, Houston, or
Tobruk, our logistics team coordinates lifting, inspection, and title transfer
in lockstep.
Compliance You Can Verify
All products are sourced from non-sanctioned origins, fully
compliant with U.S., UN, and EU sanctions frameworks. We won't offer you a deal
that puts your business at regulatory risk — ever.
Why Buyers Choose Petrolodex
Most of our customers come to us after spending months —
sometimes years — buying fuel through brokers who couldn't tell them exactly
where the product was coming from, who was taking margin on top, or whether the
contract terms were even real.
When they switch to us, three things usually happen:
- The
price drops — sometimes meaningfully — because the broker chain
quietly stacking margin between you and the fuel is gone.
- The
paperwork gets cleaner — one contract, one counterparty, one set
of verifiable documents per cargo.
- The
relationship gets long-term — buyers who start with one cargo
typically move into 12- or 24-month supply contracts, because direct
supply actually works at scale.
We're not the biggest fuel company in the world. But we
believe the future of this industry belongs to companies that trade
transparently, source directly, and treat buyers like partners — not
invoices.
That's the bet Petrolodex was built on. And it's the same
bet every member of our team makes every time we pick up the phone.
